Due to current Quebec government COVID-19 measures, in-person Mass at Saint Aloysius Parish will resume on February 14, 2021. You can watch our live Mass every Sunday during the lockdown period by clicking here.
Church is opened for Mass
Thanks to our team of volunteers, St. Aloysius Parish is ready to welcome you each week for Eucharistic celebrations. A maximum of twenty-five (25) people can be accommodated per celebration, so registrations for Sunday Mass will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis (details below). Please consult the parish website regularly as safety orders are subject to change. Please note that mandatory safety measures have been put in place for the resumption of indoor gatherings for Eucharistic celebrations.
Important: Before registering for and attending Mass, please read through the mandatory safety protocols carefully, provided below.

Safety protocols during the pandemic
Currently, a maximum of twenty-five (25) people can be accommodated per celebration. In compliance with required health safety measures, entry to the church will be restricted to the main doors on Honoré-Beaugrand St. (corner Ste-Claire). Mask-wearing is obligatory. Parishioners will be asked to sanitize their hands upon entering the church and make their way directly to their pew, maintaining a physical distance of at least two metres at all times. Gathering will not be permitted at the back of the church, either before or after Mass. In addition, no one is permitted to use the washrooms unless it is an emergency.
Distribution of Communion
To receive Communion, remain seated in your pew. The priest or (Extraordinary) Minister of Communion will come to you. The host will be extended to you on a special holder. Reach for it and consume it after the priest or Minister of Communion has left. If you wish to receive it in your hand, hold out your left hand and the host will be dropped onto it. If you do not wish to receive Communion, simply cross your arms across your chest.
After Mass, everyone must exit the church by the side doors located on either side of the altar. We have volunteers in place who will be there to assist and guide you.
