St. Aloysius Parish Christmas Party/Play 2011

On Sunday, December 11th, 2011 parishioners and friends of St. Aloysius Parish gathered together to exchange Christmas wishes and celebrate the festive season at the parish's annual Christmas Party held in Ste. Louise-de-Marillac Church Hall.

This year, guests were treated to a most heartwarming and entertaining play presented by the children and youth of our parish community. The eager audience followed the journey of a young, inquiring girl, as she searches for the meaning of Christmas, with the help of her friends, family and some unexpected visitors. The cast wrapped up their show with their boisterous rendition of “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer”. A visit from Santa followed, as all the children gathered with delight upon his entrance, welcoming Santa with cheerful singing of “Santa Claus is Coming To Town.” The evening closed with a great rotisserie chicken dinner and dessert, including delicious Christmas cakes and homemade pizzelle.

With heartfelt gratitude, we acknowledge our superb Social Committee: The Montanaro, the Lisi, and the Russo families. A special thank you to the Henry family for always bringing that special Christmas cheer to our children. We thank the Coirazza, Mascarenhas, Petitti, Giglio, and Caligiuri families for the invaluable support, time and effort they put in from beginning to end. Thank you to Manon Legault for the ever-popular arts and crafts station. The children always have beautiful hand-made ornaments and decorations to take home. Thank you to our three wise men.

And certainly, a tremendous congratulations to our youngest members of our parish, especially our playwright and director Ms. Chloe Russo. To Chloe and the entire cast, your community is so very proud of you. Your Christmas spirit brought great joy and happy memories to your St. Aloysius family for years to come. God Bless.
